This is actualy a cover of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra, song from the 60's.

More than 30 years later Primal Scream and Kate Moss did this cover, and capture all the intimist of the otiginal song and put it on a new danceable version.

After last month's quite literal interpretation of the song, this time I chose to go with a much less obvious (not to say more conceptual) piece.

From the amazing 1987 album "Signs of Life", this is The Penguin Cafe Orchestra's Wildlife.

Listen to it below, in it's full 10+ minute-glory.

I bet there won't many (if any!) similar photos this time around. I also bet Pedro will never let me do the song choice two month's in a row again, even if he is away on vacation and unavailable to do it himself. :-)

Time to fire up the imagination and get the cameras ready! The response posts are due in by August the 31st.

Sleep To Dream Her by The Dave Matthews Band

Inspired by the upcoming concert of The Dave Matthews Band (as part of the Alive!09 festival,) I decided to start off this blog/musical/photographic experiment with this -one of my favourite Dave Matthews tune.

I could not find the video for this song on-line, so I'll put up this version with only a static image -which is just as well, as our mission during the next month is to make some photos inspired by the song itself, so this way we are not overly influenced by the video images. :-)

This song was released in 2001, as part of the Everyday album, and the lyrics follow.
